It's kind of unbelievable to me that Jill Kossoris would like Peregrine Rambler. I've spent countless hours listening to the Shivvers, admiring her songcraft and voice. She is completely her own and highly distinguishable from all other songwriters. She both is a vision and has a strong vision. Her writing perfectly encapsulates the universal experience of innocently falling in love and subsequently experiencing heartbreak; and the glimmer of hope that that cycle will end one day. You can feel these songs came from the heart. She embodies everything I could hope to be as a musician. That was a very happy day, when I got to read Jill's message my friend Joe of Hot Sounds forwarded over to me!
I have never related to an image so much as this one!
Hello from September 2026.......
There is so much happening at all times and there is so little happening at all times. I've always felt a strong sense of polarity within my spirit and have been able to relate to both the sun and the moon. I have been able to make a case for everything which made me lose my ability to stay grounded and in touch with myself. This is something that I actively feel is changing for the better within me every second that passes. I don't intend to confess the state of my heart in an archive page on my website that no one is going to read but I have classically worn my heart on my sleeve and I don't know how else to exist. It makes things a lot more complicated than they need to be because everything means something to me. And because of that, I have to think about everything I do because I know that somewhere down the line, my actions have consequences. Being kind to one another and prioritizing a general state of love should always be the law. Love is the highest purpose, frequency, and goal a human being could strive for. It's beauty in motion. It's life force itself. I've never thought of minds as separate vessels. We're part of a field. The mind stretches out into infinity. I haven't figured it out yet though. I just know there's something there to care about.
It's within inspiration; it's love talking to us. It's receptivity to the source energy we're all made of... I see it in horses, dogs, willow trees, cherries, bunnies, dogs and cats, clovers, roses, pistachios even, saffron and other herbs, lavender, the sea, I mention roses again because they are worthy, the ocean, rocks and stones, pine trees and pine sap, honey(comb), all these things hold source energy. Of course there's much more! Music is one of them, clearly I like music. It's one of the main things I've enjoyed in life, one of the true things that have stayed consistent within my life anyway. I would like a scruffy, white dog, with a red collar with a gold buckle, about the size of a large terrier, with a wire-y coat, so he looks extra dirty when he's rolled through the mud. I have an affinity for the darkness that envelops the coastal states and cities when the fog sets in. The fog is said to be predictable, yet it isn't. It's a moment of respite, a moment to ourselves no matter where we are. Then the sun shines through and I feel exposed again. There's so much beauty in this world. But I truly do love California, Oregon, and Washington... I can't explain it. In any case, I'm getting side-tracked here.
Signing off.

The lemon sings my song, he's known it all along!
O beautiful birds! Creatures of flight, tangible beings of the in-between; I cherish your wisdom and song!
